| At 19:16 hours, Station 34 was dispatched as mutual aid to assist Station 77 (Trappe Fire Company) for a report of wires on a pole on fire. The incident was quickly upgraded to a building fire after the first arriving, Engine 77 reported smoke inside the building and established command.
Squad 34 secured a hydrant just past the fire building to ensure a positive water supply if needed. The first arriving aerial apparatus was positioned on the east side, designated as the "A" side of the building. Command requested that the power company respond to the scene as a precaution.
The building was thoroughly checked to confirm that there was no fire inside or on the roof. Once this was verified, the response was scaled back to only Station 77 and Station 34 units.
