August 19th at 12:21 hours, the members of the Collegeville Fire Company and surrounding fire companies were alerted to a possible building fire in the area of 4th Ave and Main Street. Collegeville Police arrived and confirmed the reports, upgrading the response to a working building fire response, adding additional resources. Crews worked for many hours to contain and extinguish the fire.
