At 10:28pm Saturday, Squad 34 with a crew of 5, along with Engine 66 & Tanker 66 were dispatched to a vehicle rescue in the 100-blk of Rahn's Road (Rt 113) in Perkiomen Township.
Chief 66 arrived to find one vehicle off the road, under power lines with multiple poles down. Small brush fires started under and adjacent to the vehicle from the power lines. Crews extinguished the fires, PECO secured the power, and the rescue was completed.
Collegeville Fire Company Squad 34 and Upper Providence Twp Fire and Emergency Services Engine 68 also responded. 66 Trappe Fire Company No. 1 and Limerick Fire Department 51 Fire Police assisted with traffic control.
