Shortly after 6:30 pm tonight, Collegeville, along with Blackrock Fire Company and Engine 66 from Perkiomen Fire Company (Perkiomen Valley Duty Crew engine) were dispatched to the parking lot of the Home Goods for a vehicle fire. Upper Providence Township Police arrived on location to find a vehicle well involved in fire. Assistant 34 (CFC Duty Chief) arrived shortly after the police confirming the police report. Squad 99 (BRVFC Duty Crew) arrived on location and deployed a hose line and knocked down the fire. Engine 66 arrived shortly after and provide manpower. Squad 34 (crew of 6) and Engine 99-1 arrived and staged. All units were clear of the scene shortly after 7 pm.
