At 18:08 hours Station 34, 77, 99, 98 Fire Police were dispatched to an MVA with injuries. MCEDS reported one of the vehicles smoking this upgraded to a Fire Response and brought in E34 and E77. EMS requested a second EMS unit to the scene due to the number of injured. Engine 34 responded with a crew of 5. BC 34 requested S. Collegeville Road be shut down at Park Avenue in Collegeville. Fire Police units from 34 shut down S. Collegeville Road at Perkiomen Blvd., and at the entrance to Wawa. They also shut down 2nd Avenue in Collegeville at Park Avenue. Station 99 Fire Police shut down S. Collegeville Rd., at Mennonite Road. Station 77 Fire Police shut down Hopwood Rd. at Donny Brook Way. Fire units secured the vehicles and assisted with debri cleanup.
