Memorial Day Parade Canceled

Due to the significant chance of rain showers predicted throughout the day on Monday, May 25th, we are cancelling our 2026 parade and Memorial Day events at Waterworks Park. The ground at the park is also soaked, which prohibits us from parking cars on the playing field and driving cars along the paths.

We will, however, continue to hold our Remembrance Service for those who died in our wars. The ceremony will be moved indoors on Monday to Verge Church, 106 W. 3rd Ae. Trappe, and will start at 11 a.m.

We hope that you will join us at the Remembrance Ceremony on Monday and next year at our parade and events at Waterworks Park on May 31, 2027, when we will keep our fingers crossed for drier weather!
