At 10:17 a.m., Station 34 Fire Police and the Upper Providence Township Fire Police Task Force were dispatched to assist Squad 68 in closing Ashenfelter Road at Troutman Road. This response was necessary due to a tree that had fallen onto power lines, blocking the roadway.

FP34-1 responded in Utility 34, arriving first at the intersection of Troutman and Ashenfelter roads to close the road to traffic. Utility 34 remained at the scene until Traffic 77 arrived, after which Utility 34 relocated to 160 Ashenfelter Road. The township road crew was called to the scene to deploy barricades.

After the barricades were in place, all Fire Police returned to service. PECO secured power in the area, and the township road crew removed the fallen tree from the roadway.
