Three incidents for the Day

The first incident was reported at 9:56 a.m. for a fire alarm at the Collegeville Shopping Center, located at 222 E. Main Street in the Borough.

The second incident was reported at 11:13 a.m. for an odor of gas or a possible leak inside a building on the 200 block of Richard Way in the Borough. The source of the odor was identified as a gas fireplace. Gas service was secured, and Assist 34 released all responding units.

The third incident was reported at 12:45 p.m. for a fire alarm on the 3000 block of Stoughton Road in Lower Providence Township. The cause of this alarm was determined to be paint fumes.
