On Sunday morning, our volunteers held a training with our New Squad on the apron at Station 66.
In Sunday’s training we simulated drafting using Pipeline 66 and Tanker 66 and a portable tank. Lift, vacuum, pressure, suction, proximity and elevation are all important factors in drafting. The training also focused on the regulation of water flow and pump operations.
Constant and consistent training, discussion plus going through some practical scenarios keep all of us ready to respond.
Additional volunteers are always needed. Stop by the station Monday night at 7pm.
