CFC Assists with Building Explosion in Pottstown

Squad 34 was dispatched for a building explosion on the 2nd alarm assignment in Pottstown Borough and responded with a crew of crew of 5. Initial assignment was to report to staging, upon arriving SD34's crew was requested to the scene, to assist with search operations and fire control. Squad 34 staged at the corner of North Franklin St and West Street. Squad 34 a short time later was request to West and Washington Streets for lighting purposes with its light tower. Squad 34 then ended up with 4, 1/34" hand lines flowing water. SD34 was supplied water by Engine 69 that was at the intersection of West and N. Washing Streets. SD34 and crew remained on scene until 03:13 hours on Friday Morning 5/27/22.
