To all those living along the Perkiomen Creek.
The new forecast for the Perkiomen is 17.8' Take appropriate action now to keep yourself safe.
Sometime around 10pm tonight Main Street will most likely be closed at 2nd Avenue due to flooding.
Route 29 North ( E 1st Avenue) will likely be closed from E. Main Street in the
Borough up to Iron Bridge Drive in Perkiomen Township.
Once this happens the only passable bridge likely to be open if you need to cross the Perkiomen is Route 422 to Egypt Road going East. Coming West Route 422 to Route 29. Expect delays late tonight and for the morning rush.
DO NOT DRIVE THROUGH WATER - THE ROADWAY MAY NOT BE THERE.
