Engine 34 and Station 77 were dispatched to a vehicle fire at the intersection of West Main Street and West 3rd Ave, Trappe Borough at 1425 hours. Engine 34 responded with a crew of 5.
Captain and Engine 77 arrived on scene to a large construction crane with insulation on fire in the engine compartment.
Engine 77 pulled a 1 3/4 hand line and extinguished the fire. 34 and 77 fire police assisted with closing the intersection down until the crane was removed from the roadway.
The roadway was open at 1525 hours.
