At 12:28 hours Rescue 34 was dispatched to assist UPFEMS and Black Rock FC on a technical rescue at 400 Towpath/Lock 60 in Upper Providence Twp., for a subject that fell down an 3 foot embankment. Subject was injured and unable to get up. Fire and EMS crews stabilized and secured the subject and brought him up the embankment. Subject was then transported to the hospital for his injures.
Rescue 34 responded with a crew of 5, Squad 334 responded with a crew of 6.
