| Station 34 and Engine 77 were dispatched to a vehicle fire at the intersection of 1st Ave (Route 29) and East 9th Ave Collegeville Borough. PSP was attempting to conduct a traffic stop on a stolen vehicle. The vehicle fled and crashed into a utility pole.
Squad 34 and Engine 77 responded and secured the vehicle while providing fire suppression and traffic control.
Station 77 and 99 Fire Police closed Route 29 between Main St and 9th Ave for about 1 hour until the car was removed and the scene cleared.
PA State Police are investigating the crash and stolen car.
