Station 34 responds to 5 calls for service on Saturday

First incident came in at 16:27 hours for Box 68-34, a Fire alarm in the 100 Block of Iron Hill Way Upper Providence Twp. AC34 held all units in station for this incident. Second incident came in at 18:21 hours for Box 68-65, was for a Vehicle fire in the area of the 300 block of Troutman Road, Upper Providence Twp. MCEDS reported that from the caller the hood was on fire. Units arrived to find a vehicle fully involved and spreading to the woods. Third incident came in at 16:39 hours for an unknown type fire in the 90 block of Market St., in the Providence Town Center. This caller actually saw the smoke from the vehicle fire on Troutman Road. Fourth incident came in at 19:56 for Box 68-31, for the odor of something burning in the 100 block of Larchwood Ct, Perkiomen Woods section of Upper Providence Twp., This was determined to be a malfunctioning water heater. Fifth incident of the day came in at 20:33 hours to Assist Station 77 for a reported Gas odor / Leak at 1824 Ridge, Target Store Upper Providence Twp.
