09:18 hours Station 34 and Ladder 77 were dispatched to a reported fire alarm in the 700 block of Clayhor Ave., in the Borough of Collegeville. MCEDS reported 2nd floor smoke detector from the alarm company. Resident was changing batteries in their detectors and set off the alarm. Resident called the alarm company for assistance with maintenance of the alarm system.
Assistant 34 held all units in station while he responded to investigate.
He then made all units available.
