Collegeville Borough Officials Meet via Video Conference to discuss COVID-19 and Borough Operations/ Emergency Management/Police/ Fire/EMS/Public Works

On March 16th at 1:30 pm, Collegeville Borough Officials met via video call to discuss the COVID-19 virus and any issues affecting Collegeville Borough. In attendance were Mayor Aidsand Wright-Riggins; Borough Manager Geoff Thompson; Police Chief Bart Bucher; Fire Chief Brian Kuklinski; Emergency Management Coordinator Jeffrey Wentworth Deputy Emergency Management Coordinator Brain Freas. Items discussed were Police Mutual request, and Police Department Operations. Chief Kuklinski spoke on the Fire/Emergency Services side of the issue. All fire and EMS services are operational with special precautions in place. On the Emergency Management side of the issue, EMA is monitoring events in the Borough along with all updates from Montgomery County EMA/EDS, as well as updates from the State. At this time Collegeville has two presumptive case of COVID-19 and they are self quarantined at home.
