Passing of Trappe Fire Company Past Chief Ron Long

March 6, 2020

The members of the Collegeville Fire Company are deeply saddened by the loss of Ron Long. Ron was an amazing person who knew how to make everyone laugh. Ron became a member of Station 34 way back in December of 1995. Ron has been a member of many different public safety organizations through the years, most recently working as an EMT at Lower Providence EMS - Medic 322 and Vol. Medical Service Corps of Lansdale. We would like to offer our deepest condolences and prayers to the Long family, his friends and co-workers during this difficult time.
Ronnie, your tour of duty is now over. We can not thank you enough for all that you have done in your lifetime. It’s now time to rest easy, Brother. We’ve got it from here.
