House Fire 200 Block of Lloyd Avenue, Collegeville Borough

At 15:22 hours Station's 34; 77; E66; QT53 were dispatched
to a reported house fire in the 200 block of Lloyd Avenue in
the Borough of Collegeville. Fire was called in by a passerby
who reported a fire in the attic and could here crackling and
see smoke from the roof top vents, also reported they did not
know if anyone was inside. 72 PD arrived on location and removed
the resident from the house.
Upon arrival of SD-34 with heavy smoke showing a special call was made
for Station 93 for an Engine, and Station 86 for a RIT team assignment.
Fire Marshall's were requested. PSP Fire Marshall responded as well as 72
Fire Marshal. Engine 66 laid in from a hydrant at Clahor and Lloyd Avenue to the scene,
Engine 34 picked up the hydrant upon arrive. Ladder 77 laddered the roof with the Main
and vented the roof, and also placed ground ladders. EMS 324 stood-by at the scene.
Also assisting at the scene were Station 77 and 53 Fire Police
