We have had a couple of residents contact us in regard to other towns fire companies and FOP lodges attempting to solicit over the phone. Those phone calls are most likely a scam. The Collegeville Fire Company does not solicit over the phone. We send a fund drive notice out once a year by mail. We also have an official company web page (www.collegevillefire.org) and an official Facebook page (www.facebook.com/collegevillefire) that has links to donate money to the fire company via PayPal. We thank everyone for their continued support and would like to remind our residents to be extremely careful with phone solicitations of any type. We urge our residents to tell the person that is soliciting by phone to send you (the resident) the information in the mail.
