Saturday, January 10 - Marine Unit 34 was dispatched to assist the Norco Fire Co. (Chester County Station 64) and Linfield Fire Co. (Montco Station 51) with a water rescue for two duck hunters whos boat had capsized on the Schuykill River near the Kiem St. bridge.
Boat crews encountered heavy ice conditions at the boat launch area and heavy ice flow in the river itself. The two hunters were found and and delivered to EMS units on land by Marine Unit 34.
