Crews were dispatched a little after 09:00 hours to assist Lower Providence Fire Department on a working dwelling fire on Farmhouse Drive, Lower Providence Township. Engine 34 went enroute with a crew of 6 including Deputy and Assistant 34. Crews worked at removing building material to check for extension of the fire as well as extensive overhaul operations. Crews returned to quarters around 12:30 hours. Turn out for this fire was quick due to a large amount of members still in quarters after being recalled from a previous vehicle rescue, also in Lower Providence Township. The cause of the fire is still being investigated by Lower Providence Fire Marshall.
