Flash flooding occurred on the Perkiomen Creek on Saturday morning 11-3-18. At 6 a.m, water level was at approximately 3.5' at around 8:42 am the water level had risen to 13.75 feet causing flooding along W. First Avenue in the Borough. Around 10 am the Perkiomen crested and started to recede. The Fire Department along with Collegeville Borough Emergnecy Management did welfare checks on the Residents of W. 1st Avenue.
