Station 34 responds to Vehicle Fire on Ramp to 422 WB, Upper Providence Twp.

Around 10:09 hours the Collegeville Fire Company responded to US Route 422 West in the area of the Collegeville on ramp for a reported vehicle fire. While enroute, Chief 99 (Daywalt) arrived and advised that he had a working car fire. Upon arrival, Engine 34 deployed its bumper line and the members made quick work of knocking down the fire. The crews from Collegeville were assisted by members of the Black Rock Fire Company, Trappe Ambulance and the Pennsylvania State Police. The CFC responded with a total of 10 personnel split between Engine and Utility 34.
