MVA With Rescue, Trappe Borough

At 21:09 hours the members of the Collegeville Fire Company we dispatched to assist Trappe Fire Company No. 1 at an accident with injuries in the area of W Main St. and Williams Way. While members were responding, Chief 77 upgraded the assignment to a rescue with one patient reported entrapped. The members of CFC and TFC stabilized the vehicle via Res- Q struts and Junkyard Dogs. Once the vehicle was stable, the CFC was able to extricate the patient through the roof of the vehicle. Once extrication was complete, patient care was performed by Trappe Fire Company EMS. The CFC responded with 17 personnel (Rescue-8, Squad-4, Utility-2, Fire Police-2 with one firefighter at station).
