At 07:40 hours Station 34 was dispatched for a
reported motor vehicle accident with Rescue
MCDS reported 1 vehicle into a pole with 1 person
trapped. Chief 34 responded to the scene, confirmed
MCDS reported and notified of 1 entrapped with a door
and possible roof to go.
Rescue 34 responded with a crew of 6 and upon arrival staged on
the EB lanes of Park Avenue and crews went to work with
stabilization and removal of the drivers side door for
EMS crews access and remove the driver.
Engine 77 responded on automatic aid response and upon arrival
took up a position in the SB lane of 2nd Ave for fire suppression if needed.
Squad 34 responded and took up a position next to E77 for traffic control at the scene.
34 & 77 Fire Police along with UPT Police shut down and controlled traffic around the scene
